Joran and Rose are half-sisters from the Beaman family of Spanish Fork. She is the shorter of the two and her mane falls to the right side of her neck.
Theirs is an interesting story. A group of the staff were discussing horse needs for the program and a parting comment from Angie was made “that we just need two more Fjords”. Within 24 hours we were contacted by the family offering the use of their Fjord horses. Their final decision was to donate both of them because of a very strong impression that this is where they should serve. Although they had been ridden they weren’t really trained properly. It took about 3 months to have them serving in led walk classes only. Now both perform in walk and trot class for more skilled riders.
